Caption: Remains of the Archaic period peribolos wall of the City Eleusinion. This a well preserved section of the wall and a nice example of polygonal masonry. The wall was probably constructed in the first half of the 6th century B.C. (See Agora 31, pp. 25-26). View from the southwest. August 8, 2003.
