Reverse Lexicon: This tool returns a list of Greek or Latin words associated with a particular semantic field. You may go from there to full definitions of those words and to all of their occurrences in the texts. (Note that since the definitions are in English, and since you may browse the texts either in translation or in the original, you don't need to know any Greek or Latin to do this. But it helps.)
Select the Greek or Latin dictionary and then type in an English word to find any definitions that contain it.
Perseus hosts the internet version of the Duke Data Bank of Documentary
Papyri (DDBDP), an electronic edition of nearly 500 papyrus volumes. There are
many ways to search this material:
Browsing: You may simply wish to browse through the text of the papyri.
Simple String Searching: Search for strings or lists of strings in one publication or in the entire corpus.
Simple Lexical Searching: Search for all of the morphological forms of a given word.
Complex Searching with Date and Place Search for combinations of strings and lexemes, with the option of restricting searches by date and place.
