Notes The first example indicates the possible loss of exactly three characters (the alternative possibility is that there was originally a vacat in this space. The second example indicates the possible loss of approximately three characters. The third example indicates the possible loss of exactly 10 characters. The fourth example indicates the possible loss of approximately 10 characters. The fifth example indicates the possible loss of text in a horizontal span of 4.2cm. The sixth example indicates the possible loss of exactly one line of text. The seventh example indicates the possible loss of one or more lines of text.
