Although purchased as genuine and having passed several knowledgeable dealers as genuine, I believed it to be original, it has come to my attention that it carries some hallmarks of the "Black Sea Hoard" group of modern copies of coins - particularly in the shape of the eye-slits in the helmet.
At any rate, if it is a copy, it's an awfully good one, as these go.
