Pompeian Households: Help on database searches
How to Search:
- First, select the field in the database that you want to search.
- Select how you want to search that field. This step is only required when
you are typing in something to search for.
- Contains means that
the contents of the field in the database that you want to search should
contain the text that you type in.
- Is means that the contents of
the field in the database that you want to search should match the
text that you type in. This matching is not case sensitive.
- > (greater than)
means that the contents of the field in the database that you want to
search should be greater than the data you type in.
- < (less than)
means that the contents of the field in the database that you want to
search should be less than the data you type in.
- Type what you are searching for in the space provided or browse for the
file that you want to upload.
- Select the field in the database that you would like the results of
your search to be ordered by.
- Select how you want the records to be ordered
- Ascending means low to high, or A to Z.
- Descending means high to low, or Z to A.
NOTE:
- To find all of the records, simply leave all of the fields blank and click
on the 'Submit' button.
