Pompeian Households: Database searches

Searches that start from this page (below) cover all houses at once. (The web page for each individual house includes links to database queries specific to that particular house, namely a table of rooms and a table of artifacts.) At the moment we make two such generalized searches available:

1. Rooms in houses
2. Artifacts in rooms

Note that secondary searches within results are possible with these forms, and that allows a successive narrowing of the search. Note also that various output formats are available in addition to HTML, for reuse in other databases (MS Excel, CSV text, Tab-delimited text, XML).
