"After all crying out together they remained, as it were, dumbfounded. Ἀλογία: ἀταξία. οἱ δὲ πάντες ἅμα ἀνακεκραγότες ἐξαυτῆς οἱονεὶ παρεληλύθεισαν. ταχὺ δὲ τοῦ λόγου διαδοθέντος εἰς τὸ πλῆθος, οὐκέτι συνέβαινε γίνεσθαι τὴν ἀλογίαν, ἀλλ' οἱ μὲν ἐπὶ τοὺς πρεσβευτὰς ὥρμων, ὡς αἰτίους σφίσι τῶν κακῶν ὄντας τούτων, οἱ δὲ ἐπὶ τοὺς κατειλημμένους τῶν Ἰταλικῶν καὶ εἰς τούτους ἀπερείσαντες τὸν θυμὸν, οἱ δὲ πρὸς τὰς πύλας τῆς πόλεως. λέγεται δὲ καὶ Ἀλογιστία παρὰ Πολυβίῳ.
