Ἀναρριχᾶσθαι: τὸ πρὸς ἄναντες ἐκβαίνειν ἅμα ταῖς χερσὶν ἀντιλαμβανόμενον καὶ στηριζόμενον. Ἀριστοφάνης Εἰρήνῃ: ἔπειτα λεπτὰ καὶ μακρὰ ποιούμενος, πρὸς ταῦτ' ἀναρριχᾶτ' ἂν εἰς τὸν οὐρανόν. καὶ Ἀναρριχώμενος, δρασσόμενος.
