Ἀγχίνους: συνετὸς, ὀξὺς τὸν νοῦν. δημηγορήσαντος τοῦ βασιλέως τοῦ τε ἱεροῦ ξυλλόγου τὸ ἀγχίνουν τε καὶ βουλευτικὸν τοῦ βασιλέως ἐπαινέσαντος. ὅτι τρία μέρη εὐμαθείας, ἀγχίνοια, μνήμη, ὀξύτης. καὶ μνήμη μέν ἐστι τήρησις, ὧν ἔμαθέ τις: ὀξύτης δὲ ἡ ταχύτης τῆς διανοίας: ἀγχίνοια δὲ τὸ ἐξ ὧν ἔμαθε θηρεύειν καὶ ἃ μὴ ἔμαθεν.
