Αἰγιεῖς οὔτε τρεῖς οὔτε τέσσαρες: ἐπὶ τῶν ἄγαν εὐτελῶν. οἱ γὰρ ἐν Ἄργει Αἰγιεῖς νικήσαντες Αἰτωλοὺς ἠρώτων τὴν Πυθίαν, τίνες εἶεν. ἀνεῖλε δὲ αὐτοῖς: Αἰγιεῖς οὔτε τρεῖς οὔτε τέσσαρες, ἀλλ' οὐδὲ δεκαταῖοι.
