Also [attested is the genitive plural] δαημονεστάτων ["of most/very expert men"], [meaning] of experienced [ones], of skilled [ones]. As in "of those most/very expert in military matters".[4]
"And he sent an ambassador expert in the language of the Greeks and not completely unfamiliar with that of the Romans, so that he also would not seem unworthy of becoming a Roman citizen by adoption."[4]

Δαημονέστατος: ἐμπειρότατος. ἦν δὲ ὁ Ἀλέξανδρος καὶ τάξαι στρατιὰν καὶ ὁπλίσαι δαημονέστατος. ἦσαν δὲ καὶ τελετῶν ἀμφότεροι δαημονέστατοι. καὶ Δαημονεστάτων, ἐμπείρων, ἐπιστημόνων. οἷα δὴ δαημονεστάτων τὰ πολέμια. πέμπει δὲ πρεσβευτὴν τῆς τε Ἑλλήνων φωνῆς δαήμονα καὶ τῆς Ῥωμαίων οὐ πάντῃ ἀνήκουστον, ὡς καὶ τοῦ πολίτην Ῥωμαίων κατὰ ποίησιν γενέσθαι μὴ δόξαι ἀνάξιον.
