Δαιδαλόχειρ: ὁ ποικίλα καὶ ἐξαίσια ταῖς χερσὶν ἐργαζόμενος. Δῆρις ὁ δαιδαλόχειρ τῇ Παλλάδι πῆχυν ἀκαμπῆ ἄνθετο. καὶ αὖθις Αἰλιανός: ἦν δὲ τὰ λυχνία ἀργύρου πεποιημένα καὶ τέχνης θαυμαστῆς δαίδαλα. καὶ Ἀριστοφάνης: ὦ χρυσοδαίδαλτον ἐμὸν μέλημα, Κύπριδος ἔρνος.
