Δορύξενος: ὁ ἐκ τῶν πολεμίων φίλος, ὁ πρεσβεύων περὶ λύτρων, εἰ ζωγρηθεῖέν τινες. ὡς Γλαῦκος καὶ Διομήδης. Δορυξένους ἐκάλουν καὶ τοὺς ὁπωσοῦν ἐπιξενωθέντας. ἀνδρὸς τοιοῦδ', ὅτῳ πρῶτον μὲν ἡ δορύξενος κοινὴ παρ' ἡμῖν αἰέν ἐστιν ἑστία. ἢ ἐπιτατικῶς νῦν, ἀντὶ τοῦ ἡ καὶ πολεμίοις φίλη.
