[1] The headword -- similarly glossed in other lexica; evidently quoted from somewhere -- is either middle or passive (third person singular present) of δρέπω . For the verb cf. generally delta 1520, delta 1521, delta 1522.
[2] Greek Anthology 7.218.5-7 (Antipater of Sidon); quoted again at kappa 2628. The participle here is from δρέπτω , a poetic variant of δρέπω .
