Διαλεπτολογοῦμαι: διαλέγομαι. ὥσπερ καὶ ὁ Σωκράτης ἔφη: ἀεροβατῶ καὶ περιφρονῶ τὸν ἥλιον: ἵνα μὴ ἕλκῃ τὴν ἰκμάδ' ἐς τὰ κάρδαμα. οὕτω καὶ ὁ πρεσβύτης: διαλεπτολογοῦμαι ταῖς δοκοῖς τῆς οἰκίας.
