[1] The headword, unglossed, is aorist infinitive of the verb
ἐγκομβόομαι .
[2] So the MSS. Without doubt
Ἀπολλόδωρος Καρυστίοις Ἀπολιποῦσι should read
Ἀπολλόδωρος Καρυστίος Ἀπολιποῦσι ("Apollodoros of
Karystos in
Deserters"). What follows is Apollodoros fr.4 Kock.
