Adjective similarly glossed in Hesychius and other lexica; evidently quoted from somewhere (probably a medical writer, but perhaps 4 Maccabees 9.13). This sense of the glossing adjective ἐκμελής is not mentioned by LSJ, but the related verb ἐκμελίζω "dismember" is reported, again from 4 Maccabees (10.5, 10.8).
