Present active participle of ἐγχρίπτω (cf. epsilon 186, epsilon 188), masculine nominative singular. Similarly glossed in other lexica; evidently quoted from somewhere.
The active can be used intransitively, but the middle-passive is more common in this sense: see LSJ s.v.
