The headword, a third person singular usually analyzed as aorist subjunctive, is idiosyncratically glossed here as a future indicative. The likeliest source is commentary to Homer, where forms of the verb are frequent (e.g. Iliad 2.359: Web address 1), but the existing scholia and other lexica and commentaries treat the word differently.
