[1] = Photios epsilon1801; Synagoge epsilon776 has the same gloss in the nominative singular. Here it is accusative plural, and while the headword could be either accusative or nominative plural, it is probably quoted from a passage in Aristophanes (see next note) in which it is accusative.
[2] Up to this point the entry = schol to Aristophanes, Wasps 581 (Web address 1), where the headword occurs. The headword incorporates the word for 'hand' (χειρ ).
