This is an “Ambrosian” entry, the source of which is difficult to identify. One can say only that the middle/passive participle of the verb ἐγείρω (here in the nominative masculine singular) is extensively used in Patristic texts and in the Byzantine period (after being poorly attested in the Imperial age and entirely so in earlier times).
