Translation:
The father, angry with his son because of his concubine, mutilated the youth and immured him. Hieronymos relates the story, in in his [treatise] On Tragic Poets.[1]

Ἐγκατῳκοδόμησεν: ὁ δὲ πατὴρ μηνίσας τὸν παῖδα ἐπὶ τῇ ἑαυτοῦ παλλακῇ ἐπήρωσεν αὐτὸν καὶ ἐγκατῳκοδόμησεν. ἱστορεῖ Ἱερώνυμος ἐν τῷ περὶ τραγῳδιοποιῶν.
Notes:
The headword is aorist indicative active, third person singular, of ἐγκατοικοδομέω . The story is abridged from alpha 1842 (q.v.), but with some alteration - notably the aorist participle μηνίσας ['(having become) angry'] for the finite verb ἐπέμηνε ['he made (someone) fall madly in love with (someone)'] there.
