Perhaps a non-standard perfect form of the rare verb ἐγχράω (hence the hypothetical translation offered for the headword).
Ms G offers the variant reading ἐγκέγχρεα , similarly obscure (cf. also the variant ἐγκενχρεα in ms A exhibiting late or epichoric orthography).
