Greek Original:Ἡ ἀπὸ Σκυθῶν ῥῆσις: τέτακται ἡ παροιμία ἐπὶ τῶν ἀποτόμως οἰμώζειν τινὰ λεγόντων: παρ' ὅσον οἱ Σκύθαι Δαρείῳ τῷ Πέρσῃ, μηνύσαντι περὶ τοῦ εἶξαι, ἀπεκρίναντο κλαίειν αὐτὸν εἰπόντες.
