[1] Pluperfect middle-passive of ἀείρω , third person singular (presumably from the quotation which follows). It should not have iota subscript; cf. alpha 2858.
[2] Quotation unidentifiable.
[3] Not in all manuscripts of the Suda; perhaps (Adler suggests) from Simeon Metaphrastes. Feminine nominative plural perfect middle-passive participle of ἀρτάω ; cf. eta 558.
