A gloss from the Lexicon Ambrosianum (Laurentianus 59,16 fol. 187v), the origin of which could be one of the several grammatical or lexicographic works used by Byzantine lexicographers: Aelius Herodianus (Partitiones 45), Choeroboscus (De spiritibus 11); alternatively, one of several scholia where the gloss occurs (e.g. to Aristophanes, Clouds 295; to Homer, Odyssey 1.303; to Oppian, Halieutica 3.96).
