Vetting Status: low
Translation:
You are experiencing pleasure.
Greek Original:
Ἥδῃ: τέρπῃ σύ.
Notes:
A gloss which could be taken from the Lexicon Ambrosianum or from the Synagogè. The former (Ambrosianus B12 sup. fol. 77r) has ἥδει: τέρπει, εὐφραίνει “you enjoy yourself: you are experiencing pleasure, you are rejoicing”. The latter, like many other lexica (e.g. Hesychius and Cyril) simply has ἥδει: τέρπει .
The headword verb is the second person singular of the present indicative of ἥδομαι “I enjoy myself”. See eta 95 and eta 96 for the same verb.
