Frogs [writes]: "go now, since you are high-spirited,"[3] instead of
age ['come']. For it is synonymous with deuro ['here']. It also means 'come.'[4]
Ἴθι: ἔρχου, ἢ πορεύου. Ἀριστοφάνης Νεφέλαις: ἴθ' ἀντιβολῶ σε. πορεύου. νῦν δὲ πείσθητί μοι. ἀντιβολῶ σε, παρακαλῶ σε, Ἀττικῶς. ὁ αὐτὸς ἐν Βατράχοις: ἴθι νῦν, ἐπειδὴ ληματιᾷς. ἀντὶ τοῦ ἄγε. συνωνυμεῖ γὰρ τῷ δεῦρο. σημαίνει καὶ τὸ ἄγε.
