Greek Original:Ἴκτερος: νόσος ἐκ χολῆς συνισταμένη. τοὺς ἰκτέρῳ χρωσθέντας ὥσπερ χρυσίῳ. λέγουσι δὲ εἶναι πόνον ὠχροειδῆ ἀπὸ θυμοῦ ἐγειρόμενον ὥστε τοὺς ὀφθαλμοὺς τῶν κεκρατημένων ὠχροὺς καὶ μέλανας ποιεῖν, ὡς καὶ τῶν ἰκτίνων, ἀφ' οὗ καὶ καλεῖται. ὅτι οἱ ἰκτεριῶντες ῥᾷον ἀπαλλάττονται πρὸς ὄρνιν τὸν χαραδριὸν ἀποβλέψαντες. καὶ ζήτει ἐν τῷ χαραδριός.
