[This] is said with synaloiphe [i.e. with two syllables combined], not καλὸς καὶ ἀγαθός .
Also καλός [can mean] the beloved.
"And the lover's name was Meletos, and his beloved's was Timagoras."[1]
The [word] καλός refers to the beauty of the body, but ἀγαθός to that of the soul.
