The first gloss seems to be a mistake. Küster suggested emending to πεδίον (plain), comparing Hesychius kappa3233 (and for other geographical uses of the term 'hollow' cf. Hesychius kappa3234, [Herodianus] 74, Suda kappa 2536, kappa 2537). Adler also cites the suggestion of Bos: πλάτος ('breadth') on the basis of comparison with kappa 2791. For the second gloss, cf. Hesychius kappa3234, kappa3235, and [Herodianus] 74. Adler also cites Lexicon Ambrosianum 1377.
