Greek Original:Κάμαξ: χάραξ, ὀρθὸν ξύλον. λέγεται θηλυκῶς. οἱ δὲ Πάρθοι στέφουσιν ὀπίσω τοὺς ἵππους περὶ τοῖς αὐτῶν αὐχέσι τὰς κάμακας ἑλίξαντες. καὶ αὖθις: μυρία, καὶ δολιχὰς δεξαμένη κάμακας. οἱ δὲ βάρβαροι δρεπανηφόρῳ κάμακι τὸ σχοινίον, ᾧ εἴχετο ἡ ναῦς, διακόπτουσι. ζήτει καὶ ἐν τῷ χιλιοστύς.
