Ἀρριανός: καὶ αἱ διφθέραι τῆς κάρφης ἐμπιπλάμεναι καὶ ἡ ὄχθη πᾶσα πλήρης φαινομένη οὐκ εἴα ἠρεμεῖν τὸν Πόρον. λέγεται καὶ οὐδετέρως τὸ κάρφος, τῷ κάρφει.
