In the present entry we should probably understand “all-receiving” in the sense of capacious, rather than “capable of holding any fluid,” but lacking a context we cannot be sure.
The Greek adjective is almost unique but does occur in
Proclus,
Eclogae de philosophia Chaldaica fr. 1, line 2 (= Oracula Chaldaica 202 des Places), where it describes the hall of God.
