But μυχός ["nook"] [is] a dark place, from νύξ ["night"], [genitive] νυκτός , and with a change [of letter] μυχός .[2]
Greek Original:Μοιχός: ὁ πόρνος. ἐκ τοῦ μὴ καὶ τοῦ οἴχομαι. ὁ ἐπιτηρῶν μὴ οἴχεται ὁ ἀνὴρ τῆς γυναικός, ἵνα εἰσέλθῃ. Μυχὸς δὲ ὁ σκοτεινὸς τόπος, παρὰ τὸ νύξ, νυκτός, καὶ τροπῇ μυχός.
