Μεγά: πολύ. οἱ δὲ μέγα δείσαντες ἐπ' αὐτῷ διαβοῶσι τὸν κίνδυνον ὅλῳ τῷ τάγματι. καὶ Αἰλιανός: ὀλίγου χρόνου διελθόντος, ἑάλω μέγα κακουργῶν: εἶτα μέντοι ἐν ὄψει πολλῶν κατεπρήσθη ζῶν. ἀντὶ τοῦ ἐκαύθη. καὶ πάρδαλιν τοῦ αὐτοῦ μέγα τιμίαν διάλιθον. καὶ αὖθις: γυνὴ εὐπάτωρ ἄνθρωπος καὶ μέγα πλουσία.

[1] This is the gloss in the scholia to Homer, Iliad 10.124, where (according to one line of textual transmission) μέγα appears in this adverbial sense. The remainder of the entry provides four other instances of μέγα used similarly.
