Just as out of the [genitive plural] μεγάλων ["of big ones"] [comes the adverb] μεγάλως ["grandly"] and in Attic μεγαλωστί ["far and wide"],[2] so [there is the sequence] νέων ["of new ones"], νέως ["newly"], νεωστί . [3] And οὕτω τι ["somewhat like that"] is similar, even though it is accented recessively.[4]
Greek Original:Νεωστί: προσφάτως. ὥσπερ ἐκ τοῦ μεγάλων μεγάλως καὶ Ἀττικῶς μεγαλωστί, οὕτω νέων, νέως, νεωστί. καὶ ἔστιν ὅμοιον τὸ οὕτω τι: εἰ καὶ βαρύνεται ἐκεῖνο.

νεωστί , rather than
μεγαλωστί , as "Attic".

οὕτω τι are two words, and the -
τί suffix of
νεωστί is unrelated to
τι "something".
