Translation: An old man [who came] before Deukalion.
They say that this man was king before Deukalion. Foreseeing the imminent inundation, he brought everyone together into the temple and made supplication while weeping. And [thus arose] a proverb: "From Nannakus", in reference to very early times.
Greek Original:Νάννακος: παλαιὸς ἀνὴρ πρὸ Δευκαλίωνος. τοῦτόν φασι βασιλέα γενέσθαι πρὸ τοῦ Δευκαλίωνος: ὃς προειδὼς τὸν μέλλοντα κατακλυσμόν, συναγαγὼν πάντας εἰς τὸ ἱερὸν μετὰ δακρύων ἱκέτευε. καὶ παροιμία: ἀπὸ Ναννάκου, ἐπὶ τῶν πάνυ ἀρχαίων.
