Greek Original:Νάπος οὐδέτερον καὶ θηλυκὸν ἡ Νάπη: ὀρεινὸς ὑλώδης τόπος. οἱονεὶ νάφη ὡς μὴ φῶς ἔχουσα διὰ δάσος. Ξενοφῶν οὐδετέρως λέγει τὸ νάπος, τὸ ἔδαφος. ἐπεὶ οἱ ἡγούμενοι ἐγένοντο ἐπὶ νάπει δυσβάτῳ καὶ μεγάλῳ, ἔστησαν ἀγνοοῦντες, εἰ διαβατέον εἴη τὸ νάπος.
