Ὠδῖνες θανάτου καὶ παγίδες: οἱ θανατηφόροι κίνδυνοι. Δαβίδ: ὠδῖνες ᾅδου περιεκύκλωσάν με: προέφθασάν με παγίδες θανάτου. Ὠδῖνες καλοῦνται αἱ πρὸ τοῦ τοκετοῦ τῆς τικτούσης ὀδύναι. τοιγαροῦν ἐκ τῆς μεταφορᾶς ταύτης ὠδῖνες ᾅδου προσαγορεύονται αἱ αὐτῷ προσπελάζειν τῷ θανάτῳ παρασκευάζουσαι συμφοραί.
