Ὤμιλλα: παιδιά τις, ἐν ᾗ ὁ εἰς τὸν κύκλον βαλὼν κάρυον, ὥστε ἐμμεῖναι, νικᾷ. Εὔπολις Χρυσῷ γένει: ἐπεισείμεθα δὲ μείνας εἰς ὤμιλλαν. ἀπὸ συναιρέσεως ἡ ὅμιλλα καὶ ὥμιλλα.
