Headword and gloss mean essentially the same, but the first is rarer -- something not always true of Suda entries. They are genitive plurals, so the headword is evidently quoted from somewhere: perhaps Nonnus' Dionysiaca (where it occurs five times) or an ecclesiastical writer. See LSJ entry at web address 1.
