Also [sc. attested is] I agree, [meaning] I think the same thing. But properly, 'to agree' [ὁμορροθεῖν ] is to row together [ἅμα ... ἐρέσσειν ] and with the same mind. But here 'I agree' is used to mean I work together with. Aristophanes in Birds [writes]: "I agree, I have the same wish."[2]
