Greek Original:Φιλιππικός, στρατηγὸς τῶν ἑῴων στρατιωτῶν. οὗτος ἔσχεν Ἡράκλειον τὸν Ἡρακλείου τοῦ βασιλέως πατέρα ὑποστράτηγον. δυστυχήσαντος δὲ ἐν πολέμῳ τοῦ Φιλιππικοῦ καὶ ἀπομάχου γενομένου, ὁ Ἡράκλειος ἐγχειρίζεται τὸ ὁπλιτικόν. ἦν δὲ ὁ Φιλιππικὸς γαμβρὸς Μαυρικίου ἐπὶ θυγατρί.
