Ὁμηρικῶς: οὐ γάρ τις πρῆξις πέλεται κρυεροῖο γόοιο. καὶ Αἰσχύλος: μόνος θεῶν γε θάνατος οὐ δώρων ἐρᾷ. οὐ δέχεται γλυκερᾶς μέρος ἐλπίδος.
