Notes:
On the Gulf of Pagasai (see pi 4, pi 5) in southern Thessaly. (For Pherai, see phi 202.)
Both Demosthenes (1.9 and 22, 2.11) and, citing him, Harpokration and Photius s.v., have the toponym -- an accusative plural -- in full. Here it has been accidentally foreshortened, to Pagas.
