Greek Original:Ψευδόπτωμα: Ἀριστοφάνης: εἰ δέ που πέσοιεν εἰς τὸν ὦμον ἐν μάχῃ τινί, τοῦτ' ἀπεψήσαντ' ἄν. διὰ τὸ μὴ φαίνεσθαι πεπτωκέναι. τὸ δὲ εἶδος τοῦ παλαίσματος ψευδόπτωμα καλοῦσιν. ὃ δὲ λέγει, τοιοῦτόν ἐστιν: ὅτι οἱ πρόγονοι, εἰ καὶ ἡττήθησαν, τὴν ἧτταν ἀνεκαλοῦντο: καὶ τοῖς νενικηκόσιν, ἡττηθεῖσιν ἐκ δευτέρου, πλέον τῆς προτέρας δίκης οὐδὲν ἦν.
