Greek Original:Ῥαδαμάνθυος ὅρκος: ὁ κατὰ χηνὸς ἢ κυνὸς ἢ πλατάνου ἢ κριοῦ ἤ τινος ἄλλου τοιούτου. οἷς ἦν μέγιστος ὅρκος ἅπαντι λόγῳ κύων, ἔπειτα χήν, θεοὺς δ' ἐσίγων. Κρατῖνος Χείρωσι. τοιοῦτοι δὲ καὶ οἱ Σωκράτους ὅρκοι. σημεῖον τοῦτο περὶ ὅρκου, ὃ καὶ νῦν ἐπιχωριάζει: πολλοὶ γὰρ πρὸς λάχανα ὀμνύουσιν, εὐορκίαν ἐπιδεικνύμενοι.
