Greek Original:Ῥαβδοῦχοι: ἦσαν ἐπὶ τῆς θυμέλης ῥαβδοφόροι τινές, πρὸς εὐταξίαν τῶν θεατῶν. ἢ ῥαβδοῦχοι, οἱ κριταὶ τοῦ ἀγῶνος, οὓς αἰσυμνήτας λέγουσιν. Ἀριστοφάνης: χρῆν μέντοι τύπτειν τε ῥαβδούχους, εἴ τις κωμῳδοποιητὴς αὐτὸν ἐπῄνει πρὸς τὸ θέατρον παραβάς. Πολύβιος: παρῆν ῥαβδοῦχος παρὰ τοῦ στρατηγοῦ, καλῶν τὸν βασιλέα.
