Greek Original:Σαῦρα: καὶ Σαῦρος: ἑρπυστικὸν ζῷον. σαύρῳ δὲ λοιπὸν ἐμφερὴς ἐγίγνετο, ἑρπυστικὸν δὲ τοῦτο τὸ ζῷον γένος, ὃν εἰ τέμοι τις καὶ διασπάσει μέσον, ἕλκει μὲν αὑτοῦ σὺν κλόνῳ τὰ τμήματα, συνέρχεται δὲ καὶ πάλιν τὰ λείψανα. Σαῦρος δὲ ὁ ἰχθύς.
